Praveen Bhai Togadia, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International general secretary said on Friday that Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav are benefactors of terrorist organisations like SIMI.
Togadia answering to media on the proposal of the government to ban Vishwa Hindu Parisad and Bajrang Dal said that the people in power feel that the saffron brigade is more harmful than terrorist groups that are responsible for serial bomb blasts in the country.
“This is the irony of the country that a ban on VHP has been proposed while senior leaders like Lalu and Mulayam oppose the governments move of banning SIMI. None of our activists have been involved in anti-national activities yet they want to ban us and the people responsible for serial blasts should be left loose,” he added.
Togadia said that directly or indirectly the two leaders are supporting terrorism in India. “By saying that an organisation like SIMI should not be banned the duo has advocated for terrorist group. Though not directly but they have played their role in the anti-national activity,” Togadia claimed.
The VHP head said that all the governments of the country have failed miserably in curbing the Islamic terrorist activities in the country. “There was no terrorist attack in US after the twin tower incident there. But in India we had Parliament attack, the Mumbai train blast, two blasts in Delhi, blasts in Gujrat and the list goes on,” he added.
Attacking on VHP own political counterpart Togadia said that any government of any political party does not wants to stop terrorism. “We share platform with all parties of the country. BJP is not an exception. It too failed miserably in fulfilling our targets,” claimed he.
Togadia said that the only problem is that the government are not working to curb the root cause of terrorism. “If an area is affected by malaria – offcourse you can curb it by supplying medicine. But is that a solution. One has to kill the mosquitoes and make provisions so that they cannot breed. The government is currently working on the first solution,” he claimed.
Explaining his point Togadia said that government is working on a one point agenda of killing the terrorist. “Slaughtering won’t help. We need to kill the ideology. The person, place or the institution that propagates that propagates Jehad,” he added.
Togadia said the Madarsas must be banned in the country. “I am not saying that Islam is wrong but we have to finish that part of it that propagates terrorism. All the Madarsas in the India must be banned. If we are successful in closing down these spots where Jehad is propagated we shall be able to curb terrorism in an easy manner,” he claimed.
He said that serial blasts are not being made to kill Indian but its economy. “Osama is a big brain. The motive behind these blasts is not to kill a handful of Indians it aims to collapse our economy. Further, it is not just the responsibility of the police but responsibility of every individual to curb this menace,” Togadia said.
